*(9-26-2026 CLARIFICATION AT THE BOTTOM OF THE POST)*
So, I have known something for a couple of days. Someone with Board of Realtors came to me anonymously. This person told me that Greg Lansing, John Petty and Southwest Riverside County Association of Realtors have put a PACT together to send out a mailer that will target me negatively. Greg Lansing was part of the warehouse development that this community came out in numbers against. At the time I was on the Planning Commission. We voted 5-0 against. The city council, which I was not a part of at that time, proceeded to vote 5-0 against it. Through a course of events, Greg Lansing offered a smaller footprint, and I was appointed to Hemet City Council (when Carole Kendrick left). I did not vote to give him a second chance at a smaller footprint. He then threatened a lawsuit against the city IF both Tom Lodge and I did not recuse ourselves from the vote for the new footprint. The community was very suspicious of both the city and Mr. Lansing. From my standpoint legally, I could not stand in judgment over myself as a Planning Commissioner nor a City Council member in this last vote. The rule is though; all three remaining would have to vote yes, which did not happen.
John Petty, I do not know. He tried to reach out to me prior to the election season through a Council member. This member said he wanted to talk to me about running my campaign. I declined.
Hemet deserves better than two bullies and a board that works from financial gain. The Board of Realtors does not know who I am. They are going off two bullies’ information. This PACT will directly benefit my opponent Norm Kryss because John Petty is running his campaign. No money is accountable on Campaign Forms 460. It is just for the benefit of a smear campaign. I thought you should know.

9-26-2026 I spoke with Mr. Brubaker. He believed it happened, but he did not see it as the WHOLE Board at SRCAR. It was one or two individuals that set it up. We discussed and I understand his reasoning. I want to go on record to say I agree with him. That one or two individuals from the Southwestern Riverside County Association of Realtors are involved, not the whole board.
